ProjExec 4.1 is the latest generally available release for all editions of the ProjExec family of collaborative project management solutions.  IBM Lotus Quickr 8.1.1 heads the list of IBM Lotus collaborative technologies supported by the latest release of the 2009 Lotus Award for Best TOTAL Lotus Software Solution.  ProjExec 4.1 is also available for IBM Smart Business, IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1, IBM WebSphere and other J2EE application servers.  You can also find ProjExec 4.1 on Lotus Greenhouse.

 ProjExec 4.1 adds even more functionality on top of the existing extensive list of essential project management tools including interactive Gantt charts, full two-way synchronization with Microsoft Project and easily customized reporting tools. 

·        Dynamic Resource Allocation functionality now supports enhanced visibility of resource conflicts spanning multiple projects. 

·        Powerful Gantt Chart Editor now allows drag and drop functionality on both the left hand table and the right hand chart and permits users to            insert a new WBS parent above a task – a great tool to have on hand when you want to split a task into several subtasks.

 ·        Intuitive additions to the Change Management module include a contextual menu to execute commonly used actions directly from the view without opening the form.

Streamlined UI for More Intuitive Ease of Use

The latest release of ProjExec 4.1continues to create an intuitive user experience that encourages project participation, content sharing and project collaboration.

 ·        New usability features permit view/reply/delete modifications to discussion threads directly from the view level, as well as posting replies to discussions directly from the view.

Administrative Enhancements

The ProjExec 4.1 installation now includes an option install ProjExec 4.1 on a server deployed in cluster mode.

 There are two versions of ProjExec 4.1; ProjExec Enterprise offers a comprehensive Enterprise Project Management solution with complete project life cycle management.  ProjExec Express offers entry-level project scheduling and tracking capabilities for small project teams.  The latest features in the 4.1 release are included in the Enterprise and Express versions respectively.
